The VTCA are pleased to announce that our VTCA Kookaburra T/20 Cup Semi Finals and Final are to be held at the Saltwater Reserve Point Cook on Sunday 19 February 2017.

The format for the day will include the two semi finals played simultaneously in the morning with the final played in the afternoon.

Semi Final 1 SpotswoodCC v Point Cook CC @ 10:30am

Semi Final 2 Deer Park CC v Doutta Stars CC @ 10:30am

Grand Final @ 3pm

The day has been organised as a carnival day which will include Milo Into Cricket and T/20 Blasts for the kids, market stalls, jumping castle, special guests from international cricket teams (more to follow) Sledge & Willo the mascots form the Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars, face painting, animal ballooning, food and drink stalls, DJ and many, many more activities to keep both young and old occupied.

Proceeds from the day will be donated to the VTCA’s preferred charity, The McGrath Foundations Pink Stumps Day. The VTCA are ambitiously hoping to raise in excess of $12,000 for the foundation with the support of our clubs.

The association are organizing a Mega Raffle as part of our fundraising activities. Again we will have further details shortly. We hope for the support of our clubs and members to help generate valuable funds for this worthy cause.

I am sure most of us have been touched by this insidious disease through either friends and family and like us have a passion to help in any way we can.
